With the clocks changing at the weekend we are now definitely into Autumn.
In Five Element Acupuncture Autumn is the season for the Metal Element which governs the Lung and Large Intestine organs. The Metal Element is linked to emotions of grief and loss. .
It is a time for letting go. Much like the trees shedding their leaves.
In Chinese Medicine the Lungs receive the Qi and assist the capacity to ~take things in~ both mentally and spiritually. The Large Intestine is responsible for ~letting go~ of impurities.
When in balance, the capacity to be able to ~feel~ loss and move on all happens smoothly. As does the ability to ~take in~ quality and richness in order to feel complete. .
Sometimes we can get ~stuck~ in an Emotion, Element or Season.
If imbalanced this could lead to feeling like there is ~something missing~ not feeling good enough, being overly concerned about ~purpose~ meaning and quality in life.
~Acupuncture treatment can help to process feelings of grief and support through letting go~
It is okay to cry, let go, slow down, go inwards and make space for new 🌟
